The Story
I'm a Design Engineer and Informatics and Computing Engineering graduate based in Porto.
I earned a BSc in Informatics and Computing Engineering from the University of Porto in July 2026. My work is guided by the belief that code and visual intent should stay closely connected.
My engineering background shapes how I approach interfaces: usability, aesthetics, and implementation are all technical concerns. How a product feels matters just as much as how it functions.
I focus on translating ideas into clear, polished interfaces that are enjoyable to use.
Experience
Software Engineer Intern, Design Engineering
Currently working on Cloudflare's Design Engineering team to enhance the dashboard experience and help evolve Kumo, Cloudflare's open-source React component library. My work bridges design and production, building high-fidelity, production-ready tools and interfaces for a dashboard used by millions of users.
Project Manager, Time Table Selector (TTS)
As Project Manager for
(TTS), I lead the development and continuous improvement of an open-source React application that streamlines academic scheduling for university students. I coordinate contributors and translate student needs into product and engineering priorities.UX Researcher, Research Grant
Conducted UX research and data analysis for VAXPRED, a platform designed to predict vaccine efficacy. I analyzed user interactions and feedback and produced a technical UX report focused on the platform's usability and presentation of health information.
